The acclaimed Miyota 9 Series sets a new standard in watch movements with its remarkable features. Boasting an impressive power reserve of over 42 hours, it ensures dependable performance, without the hassle of constant winding. Crafted in Japan, renowned for its watchmaking mastery, the Miyota 9039 movement with 24 jewels guarantees unmatched reliability through rigorous testing and high accuracy. Its ultra-thin design and small parts require skills and technology that is a testament to the craft of watchmaking.

SECURING KIDS A BRIGHTER HORIZON

When buying a 1964 Horizon, not only do you get a watch for all occasions, you also support some of the world's poorest kids, giving them a brighter horizon. For each watch we sell, we make a donation that secures school bags for two kids, giving them an opportunity to learn how to read and write. All donations are given directly to Unicef, the international organization who work to secure a better future for kids all over the world.

1964 Horizon Automatic

In 1964 Seiko became the official timekeeper of the Summer Olympics. This marked an important development in how Japanese watchmaking was perceived. From this point, Japanese watch making was internationally acclaimed, and has since then become one of the world's leading nations in watches.

The 1964 Horizon bears references to the history of Japanese design, with simplicity and functionality as its main factors. Being a true versatile watch for both sport and cocktails, the 1964 Horizon is made as a do-it-all watch for any occasion. It’s equipped with a premium Japanese automatic movement - the Miyota 9039 - with unmatched reliability and high accuracy. A true testament to the craft of watchmaking.

THE DESIGN

In the design process of the 1964 Horizon we wanted to make a watch that is both rugged yet refined. Something that caters to sportswear and cocktail attire alike. With inspiration from Scandi-Japanese design culture of simplicity and functionality, this very simple 3-hand watch, with large SuperLuminova filled hour markers and hands, encapsulated in a bulky case but stripped from unnecessary details, is what we believe is the best of both worlds: A sporty, yet dressy watch.

IN DETAIL

The 1964 Horizon Automatic is fitted with a premium automatic Japanese movement that features a sweeping smooth second hand, making this watch a joy to look at.

The oversize hour markers and hands are filled with Swiss Made SuperLuminova for optimal reading in low light conditions.

The knurled screw-down crown secures easy handling plus gives the watch a depth rating of 10 ATM, meaning the watch is water resistant to 100m. The scratch resistant sapphire crystal and 316 L surgical steel makes this watch as durable as ever possible, a nice companion for your every endeavor.

One of my collection favourites.

I had my eye on this for a while and finally bought it. I love white on white but the two whites then coordinate with so many different colours of straps; the face with warm tones and the beautiful big blobby markers with cool tone straps. The Milanese strap is fabulous with it. Nice big crown. So multipurpose and beautiful. So happy I got it.

Our mission

Keeping track of the moments in time

By creating the alternative to the watch in the safety box, we have a vision to be relevant today, tomorrow and beyond. A focus to make simple, affordable, yet spectacular timepieces that last a lifetime. For us, vintage is not just a reference of style; it is the journey to becoming it. The journey will take you through eventful moments and memorable days to occasions that change your whole perspective. We hope that one day your watch will make you look back at it all.

Make moments, give it history - let it become vintage.

TIMELESS DESIGN

BUILT TO LAST

STEEL & GOLD

We use 316L surgical-grade stainless steel from Finland, which is commonly used for fine watches and jewelry worldwide. Additionally, our models with gold plating are, of course, made with genuine ISO-certified gold plating, ensuring that the precious metals can withstand the test of time.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

We only use highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on all our models, combined with an anti-reflective coating for better visibility. Our products are made with Japanese precision. It may be expensive, but it is the key to lifelong quality.

MOVEMENTS (CALIBER)

We carefully select Swiss and Japanese-made quality movements, as they are simply the best in the world. We choose specific calibers from Miyota, Sellita, and TMI that have been real-world tested and proven to be 'workhorses' for optimal durability.

A-GRADE FACTORIES

We use A-grade factories and suppliers for all components, making a difference in all the small but important details. Everything, from the feel of the round steel edges to the quality feel and weight of the bracelets, dial details, quality control, and certified work environment ethic.

No tools needed

New look in seconds

All our watches are made with a quick release system for the straps and bracelet. This means, you can easily change between straps or bracelets, to give your watch a whole new look. Pop on the silicone strap for sport activities and change it to the steel bracelet for the night out.
