The perfect mix between class and sporty
Let me introduce you to the About Vintage 1815 Chronograph with the green sunray dial, which for me has the best of both worlds. It’s a 41 mm case which makes it easy to read your chronograph, on the beautiful sunray dial.
Sunray dials are, in my opinion, one of the most exciting and colorful dials to look at. The sun or the light tells the color nuances, and it has a new nuance for every angle you see it from. These dials give a watch life, and you will catch yourself staring at the watch, feeling an interaction between you and the dial. The vertical placed sub dials are very unorthodox, and makes a chronograph watch a bit classier, combined with a readable face.
The 1815 Chronograph is featured with domed sapphire crystal glass and gives a vintage feeling to the watch. When I see domed glass, I’ll start thinking of vintage 36 mm dress watches from old movies.
Dress up or dress down?
Personalizing a watch it’s a super cool feature, and very easy too with the straps from About Vintage. Every About Vintage watch comes with an interchangeable strap, and you can change the strap by hand in seconds, without any tools. By customizing your watch, you can make it stand out from any other watches.
The 1815 Chronograph comes with the brown Italian leather strap with pin buckle, which in my opinion is a very common strap for these watches. It's a bit too classic for me and I would like to put on the dark green Italian leather strap. The green strap compliments the green dial perfect and makes it way classier in my opinion, but harder to style. It could be the standout piece in your outfit when it’s on the wrist for the day and would be the piece that people will compliment.
