I love the overall design and feel of the 1956 Marine, Steel / Black. It truly punches above its weight in terms of quality for the price. The aesthetic is spot-on, and I especially appreciate the sleek look and thickness of the watch. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase!
If I had to point out an area for improvement, it would be the strap. The plastic pieces that hold the second loop of the strap feel a bit loose. Perhaps thicker or harder plastic would improve durability, as they feel like they might not last very long.
That said, I absolutely love the watch. Would I buy it again? Yes, without hesitation!

I never got my order, FedEx sent notifications that it was held up in clearance and the seller needed to provide additional information to clear. The customer service has told me I need to provide more info (I have no contact info for FedEx nor can I update info as I didn’t ship the item), and so I never received my purchase. Their customer service was incredibly nonresponsive. I get the feel this is a scam.

The 1969 Petite was a birthday gift and was received with with great joy. Perfect fit, great look, lovely piece. And all done a few days before Christmas and it was here in just a few days. Nice work by About Vintage and good work by me😂
Premium watch, I like how it's simple and amazing
I think About Vintage came close, but ultimately for me, missed the mark on this Seconde Seconde collaboration. The dial was interesting, but About Vintage did not highlight that the "1" in "1956" is scratched out, playing on the 10th century motif. Too playful, because it looks defective. The bezel has no practical use, so it might have well been "fixed", it was also sharp on the edge. Legibility is useless in the evening. The hands are shaped like swords of the era, but at least could have a stripe a lume. The date placement was fine. The Bonklip style bracelet is light and thin by nature, but this makes the total feel of the watch too top heavy. It was also sharp on the edge of the links. The Miyota movement of choice is what was really disappointing it was 2+ min. fast per day. If it were a quality hand wound movement, it would have gone along with the vintage vintage feel there, second seconde. 499 is just way too much, for this watch, even if collecting pieces from Romaric Andre. Not for me, but the return process was fast and simple. Good communication from the AV team.

I am very pleased with my 1844 Chronograph wristwatch. I ordered the black and green straps. The straps are easy to remove and install, making this watch a versatile wardrobe piece. I would recommend this watch; love the craftsmanship and the overall look. I searched through hundreds of watches to add to my collection and am very glad I chose About Vintage and their 1844.
Novel watch. I like the design. At the same time, what would possibly have been better would be to have more contrast between the hands and the dial. . . Also the date window is just way too small to be useful.
The watch was delivered and was defective. The bezel was not attached to the watch, I’ve sent it back to be repaired. I’m happy to change my review once I’ve received the watch back in perfect working condition.
