How long is the battery life of my watch?
The batteries fitted in our timepieces are expected to last around 2-4 years depending on movement type. Batteries can easily be changed at most jewelry & watch stores at a low cost.

Automatic movement maintenance
Our timepieces are made to last a lifetime, we therefore only use high quality and well tested automatic movements. These movement types are recommended to be serviced at your local watch specialist minimum every 5 year for optimal performance and longevity.

Introducing the 1970 Swiss Made GMT ‘Glacier’ - a brand new iteration of our classic Sellita-powered GMT model, featuring a rich off-white dial, silver and gray bezel and clear white luminous markers, filled with swiss Super-LumiNova material.

SWISS MADE AUTOMATIC GMT
This watch is powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW330 automatic GMT movement that holds a power reserve at 42 hours, 25 jewels and Incabloc shock-resistant technology. Besides the GMT complication that allows reading time in up to three time zones at once, the 1970 GMT also features a date complication, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and a 100m depth rating, making this watch a handy travel companion as well as a sturdy daily wearer.

LIMITED EDITION
The 1970 GMT is presented on a solid link and end-link bracelet, made in 316L surgical grade steel, just like the case. A proper Limited Edition watch with only 250 pieces made, each individually numbered.

1970 GMT Automatic Steel / Steel Burgundy　が届きました。

とてもきれいな時計です。数多ある機械式の実用GMT時計のなかで、他の時計のデメリットや弱点をほとんど無くしたような良い時計です。機械式時計でGMT仕様にするとギアが1段2段増えるようで分厚くなりますが、これは厚さ11mmで非常に薄く、手首から飛び出すような不快感がありません。昔のオメガシーマスター300GMTや、ロレックスGMTⅡなどどよく似た外観ですが、一回り小さく、また回転ベゼルの文字盤が見やすく小ぶりなゴシック体なので上品に思います。上記の時計と比較するとこの点は優れていると思います。また軽いので身に着けていても気になりません。精度は-3秒/日で良いと思います。私事ですが、非常に良い電波時計がありながら機械式時計に回帰したのは、時差を跨ぐ時、電波時計では時間の調整が難しい(何段階もの手順と操作が必要)というのがあります。時間に厳格な我が国から出るときには、日差にいくばくかの余裕のある機械式時計のほうがはるかに操作しやすくまた(我が国より時間にルーズな)その地域に似つかわしく思います。
ここから要望を挙げていきます。まず24時針は他のハンドと連動しているのですが、できれば単独の切り離し調整ができればありがたい。またねじ込み式竜頭を使用して防水性能をもう少し高めてほしい。長短ハンドは夜光塗料が塗られておりシンプルでよいが、例えばオメガGMTのような剣ハンドのチョイスができようになればよい。(見やすいがモーメントに不利な剣針も選択可にしてほしい)　刻印サービスの文字数をもう2つ3つ増やしてほしい。今回購入したのはナトータイプのベルトで、ラグのピンが今流行りの指先で操作しやすいT字型レバー式であるが、できれば他社や異種のブレスへの換装のために普通の棒型のピンを予備でつけてほしい。
以上感想となりますが、この時計の価格とデザイン、性能そして迅速な配達を考えると、とても良いメーカーの製品だと思います。

Very nice watch

The watch is absolutely great! But I miss the spring bar at the clasp during the adjustment of the clasp so that the 5-link strap become incomplete! How could I get another one in order to make it become complete again!

We only use highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on all our models, combined with an anti-reflective coating for better visibility. Our products are made with Japanese precision. It may be expensive, but it is the key to lifelong quality.
